Highland Croft Goat & Sheep Wellbeing Experience
3 hrs · Group of 4–10
- Croft welcome (20 mins): tea, coffee, or hot chocolate and homemade shortbread; introduction to the croft and animals.
- Meet the goats (40 mins): enter the goat paddock, feed approved treats, learn about each goat's personality, take photos and interact freely — the friendly goats are often the main attraction; they're curious and highly interactive.
- Guests can also lead a goat on a halter where appropriate.
- Goat walk (45 mins): guided walk around the woodland paths, meadows and croft trails.
- Sheep encounter (30 mins): meet rare breed sheep, hand feeding session, learn about crofting traditions and seasonal lamb interactions when available.
- Highland Picnic (30 mins): served outdoors or in a rustic shelter with local cheeses, oatcakes, fresh baking and seasonal produce.
- Croft calm time (15 mins): guests relax among the fields with blankets, hot drinks and views over the croft — no formal mindfulness instruction, just quiet time in nature.
- Premium versions — Private couples Croft £250–£350: guests help feed the animals, prepare enrichment activities, check paddocks and learn basic husbandry.
- Seasonal experiences: spring lamb visits, summer sunset goat walks, autumn harvest picnics and winter hot chocolate and goat cuddles.
- Ideal animal numbers for a startup operation: 6–10 friendly goats and 8–15 sheep (including a few particularly tame ones).
